FAQs for agents

DEAR ROSA,

Will you privatize a regularly scheduled class for my clients?

The cost of a private class is equivalent to the cost for eight people. If there are fewer than eight people in the group, they would need to pay for eight spots.

Will you privatize a class for my clients on a day that does not appear on the booking calendar?

From April to October, we have a full schedule of classes and are usually unable to add private classes outside of the regular schedule.

In the off season, we can often be more flexible, so please feel free to ask us about the date that interests your clients.

Can I put an option on a class for my clients?

Our booking system does not allow us to put an option on a regularly scheduled class. Please inform the clients that their spots cannot be guaranteed until they have confirmed and paid, and make the booking online once you have received confirmation from the clients.

Do you offer commissions for agents?

Because our prices already include a 20 percent sales tax plus bank processing fees, we regret that we are unable to offer commissions for agents.

What is the maximum number of students you can accept?

Our kitchen has space for up to eight students in a hands-on class.

My clients have confirmed, how do I proceed with the booking?

Please make all bookings for regularly scheduled classes via the Petits Farcis online booking system. Once we have received the payment, you will be sent an automatic confirmation with all the details, including a few questions for the clients to help plan the class. You will also receive an invoice with TVA (sales tax). Please note that our booking system accepts Visa and Mastercard, not American Express.

Will you teach an evening class?

From April to October, we are unable to add evening classes as we have a full schedule of classes.

Outside of these months, please feel free to ask us about scheduling an evening class.

What is the minimum and maximum number of people you can take for a Street Food Tour?

We offer Private Street Food Tours for a minimum of four people and a maximum of eight people per guide. The Street Food Tour is subject to the guide’s availability, so please check the date with us before proposing this tour to your clients.

What is the best day to see the food market?

The Cours Saleya market is at its liveliest on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, so we have scheduled regular classes on those days.

Will you accept young children in a cooking class?

We welcome children of all ages in our cooking classes, provided that they come with their parents who are also participating in the class. Please ensure before booking a family with children that this activity will also interest the children and that the parents are aware of the length of the activity.

What are your terms and conditions of cancellation?

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class are non-refundable. For cancellations made more than 48 hours before the class, we will issue a refund minus a 5 percent service fee. You will also have the option of switching to a different date with available space, or requesting a voucher valid for 18 months.

Please contact us if you have a reservation that you wish to cancel or reschedule.

My clients are disappointed that you have no availability. What should I tell them?

We are a very small operation and, although we would love to meet every request for a class or tour, sometimes it is not possible for us to stretch any further.

We hope the clients will consider joining a public class if they initially asked for a private class, or be able to cook with us on their next trip to Nice!

These are a few of the most regular queries, but if you have further questions please use our contact form to send us a message and we’ll reply as soon as we can.
